Counseling with Jessie is action focused and awareness driven. You will be asked to do homework each week, you will learn skills that will make you feel more emotionally healthy. You will learn how your thoughts, emotions and behaviors are connected. You will learn about the ways in which your diet interacts with your mood and your hormones. You will learn tools and techniques to manage stress.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I have never heard of anyone using this approach, and I thought it was bang-on. I loved how we had a plan and got into doing work immediately.
The exercises made me think about things in a new way. I was excited to tell people about my new way of thinking.
This type of counseling is not a bunch of venting, we actually do real work.
