Build the Village is a Nonprofit Organization founded to serve moms and families in rural communities with little access to mental healthcare(do to location or stigma).  As a girl from a small town in WV, I understand this struggle.  My heart is to help train community leaders and medical professionals (in one small town at a time) to advocate for perinatal mental health and be equipped to support the moms in their communities.  We have all heard it said that it takes a village to raise a child, but the secret to that phrase is that the village is actually for the mom.
